How about "thinks life is perfect" for the last line? I guess it does mean something different than the original! :)
While that makes it a 17 syllable haiku, it would not only change the meaning, but would change it from an Unintentional Haiku to an Altered From The Original Haiku. But, thank you, O Anonymous One, for the suggestion! :)
